Why these three symptoms cluster

Brain, gut, and nervous system share the same regulatory hardware. Inflammation in one shows up in the others. The vagus nerve, HPA axis, and cytokine signaling create a loop: gut inflammation drives anxiety; anxiety drives cortisol; cortisol suppresses digestion; poor digestion starves the brain of nutrients.
